Fawn Oak Chevron is engineered European oak laid in a chevron pattern. Fawn Oak is a soft light brown with a gentle pinkish beige warmth. The colour is fairly even across the blocks, so the chevron reads as a calm, quiet pattern.
Specifications
Prime grade oak blocks, 600 × 90 × 15 mm, with a 3 mm oak top layer on an engineered core. Brushed surface with a UV lacquer, micro bevel on all four sides and tongue and groove joins. The blocks are glued directly to the subfloor. Slip rating P3. Each pack holds 32 blocks and covers 1.469 m².
Where it suits
It is an easy chevron to live with in bedrooms, living rooms and open-plan spaces, and it sits well with white, cream and greige walls and pale timber furniture.
The 600 × 90 mm block is slim, so the chevron has plenty of points across the room and looks refined rather than bold.
Installation
Pattern floors take longer to set out and lay than plank, and every edge block is cut, so the quote allows for more waste and more labour. The subfloor has to be flat and dry, because short blocks show every dip. We check moisture and flatness at the measure and include any levelling in the quote. Engineered European oak is the floor we approve over underfloor heating, installed to the product instructions. It is not suited to bathrooms or laundries.

Each pack covers 1.469 m². Pattern floors need more allowance for cuts than plank; at about 12% extra you need roughly 11.2 m², which is 8 packs. We confirm the allowance from your actual room shapes at the measure.
Is Fawn Oak closer to beige or brown?
It sits between the two: a light brown with a soft beige warmth. Look at a sample in your own light before you decide.
Is Fawn Oak Chevron solid oak?
No, it is engineered. The top 3 mm is real European oak, so the surface you see and walk on is genuine oak, and the layers underneath keep the block stable.
