Dove Grey is a 9 mm hybrid plank from our 9 mm plank range with a mid grey oak look. It is not a cool blue-grey. There is a soft taupe cast through it, and the grain is busy: darker grey cathedral patterns, open knots and streaks that stand out against the lighter base.
Because the figure is strong, Dove Grey reads as timber from across the room rather than as a flat grey. That matters in open-plan spaces, where a plain grey floor can look like vinyl. It sits well with white or charcoal kitchens, black tapware and concrete-look benchtops. Next to warm timber furniture it can look a little cold, so take a sample home and put it beside your joinery before you decide.
Each board is 1545 × 228 mm and 9 mm thick: a 7 mm SPC core, a 0.5 mm wear layer and a 2 mm acoustic underlay already attached underneath. The boards join with a Unilin click and float, so there is no glue or nails. It is rated EN 685 domestic heavy and commercial light, with a P3 slip rating. The embossed surface gives some texture underfoot, and the micro bevel keeps the joins as fine lines.
The board is highly water resistant, so kitchens, bathrooms, laundries and powder rooms are fine. It is not for a shower recess or anywhere else with regular running water. Hybrid cannot be sanded, so we recommend keeping a few spare boards for repairs. In an apartment, check your building's acoustic rules before ordering.

Questions
Each pack covers 1.761 m². 30 m² plus 10% is 33 m², and 33 ÷ 1.761 = 18.7, so you would order 19 packs.
It sits in the middle. The base is grey with a slight taupe cast, so it is not blue-toned, but it will look cooler beside honey-coloured timber furniture. Check a sample in your own light.
No. Hybrid is not approved for underfloor heating. If you have it or plan to put it in, our engineered European oak is the floor approved for it.
25 years limited for homes and 10 years limited for light commercial use, from the manufacturer. It covers manufacturing defects and the finish wearing through under normal use, as long as the floor is installed and cared for to the instructions. The exact term is confirmed on your quote. Our installation work and your Australian Consumer Law rights are separate from it.
