White Haven is the palest plank in our 7 mm hybrid range, a whitewashed oak look in off-white with a faint cream-grey tint. The grain is very soft, so from standing height the floor reads almost plain.
Specifications
1524 × 228 mm planks, 7 mm thick: 5 mm SPC core, 0.5 mm wear layer and 2 mm attached acoustic underlay. Embossed surface, micro bevel, Unilin click, floating installation. EN 685 domestic heavy and commercial light, slip rating P3 (AS 4586). Six boards per pack (2.085 m², 19.5 kg).
Where it suits
It suits coastal homes, bright apartments and bedrooms where you want the room to feel airy. Because the floor is so light, bring warmth in elsewhere with timber furniture, woven rugs or a warm white on the walls. With cool white walls, white cabinets and chrome, the whole room can feel clinical.
Living with a near-white floor
Pale floors hide dust and light fluff well. What they show is anything darker: mud, coffee, red wine, black scuff marks from shoes and the grey track at a busy back door with no mat. The board is highly water resistant and can go in bathrooms and laundries, though not a shower, and water should not be left on the joins. If White Haven feels too white, Light Sands is the warmer, sandier option in the same collection.
Installation
It floats on attached 2 mm underlay over a flat, dry subfloor. In an apartment, check your building's acoustic rules for hard floors before you order. Hybrid is not approved for underfloor heating; if you have it or plan to install it, our engineered European oak is the floor approved for it. Frequently asked questions
Does White Haven show dirt?
It hides dust well but shows darker marks such as mud, coffee and shoe scuffs. A mat at each outside door makes a big difference.
How many packs for a 15 m² bedroom?
15 m² plus 10% is 16.5 m². At 2.085 m² per pack, 16.5 ÷ 2.085 = 7.9, so you would order 8 packs.
Is White Haven pure white?
No. It is an off-white with a faint cream-grey tint and very soft grain. We suggest viewing a sample next to your wall colour.
What warranty comes with White Haven Hybrid?
25 years limited for homes and 10 years limited for light commercial use, from the manufacturer. It covers manufacturing defects and the finish wearing through under normal use, as long as the floor is installed and cared for to the instructions. The exact term is confirmed on your quote. Our installation work and your Australian Consumer Law rights are separate from it.
