Whitewashed Chevron is engineered European oak in a wide chevron block. Whitewashed is a creamy white oak where the grain shows through the wash. It is slightly warmer than Cotton White.
Blocks are 915 × 155 × 15 mm with a 4 mm European oak wear layer on a three-layer hardwood core, a wire brushed surface and tongue and groove joins. A pack covers 1.178 m².
It is a good choice for coastal and Scandinavian interiors and for older homes that have been opened up and painted white.
At 915 mm long and 155 mm wide this is a large chevron block. It gives a bold V with fewer joins, which suits open-plan rooms and long living areas. The 4 mm oak wear layer leaves room to sand and recoat the floor in future, a job best done by a sander experienced with pattern floors.
Chevron is set out from a straight centre line and laid block by block, and every edge block is cut, so allow more waste and labour than plank. The subfloor must be flat and dry, and we check it at the measure. Engineered European oak is the floor we approve over underfloor heating, installed to the product instructions. It is not suited to bathrooms or laundries.

Questions
Each pack covers 1.178 m². Chevron needs more allowance for cuts than plank; at about 12% extra you need roughly 11.2 m², which is 10 packs. We confirm the allowance from your actual room shapes at the measure.
All timber changes a little with light over the years. A pale washed oak can mellow slightly in strong sun; window coverings on north and west windows slow it down.
Yes. It has a 4 mm oak wear layer, so it can be sanded and recoated in future. Sanding across a chevron takes care, so it is a job for someone experienced with pattern floors.
