Pricing depends on the area, installation and subfloor preparation, so we prepare a quote for each job. Please call us on 1300 690 160 or visit our Camberwell showroom to see this floor in person.
Westminster is one of four boards in our reactive-finish series, made for people who want an oak floor that already looks settled in. The surface is brushed and then given a reactive finish, which brings out variation from board to board. This gives a rustic look with a matte surface rather than the even colour of a standard oak.
Each board is 1900 × 190 × 15 mm engineered European oak with a 4 mm oak wear layer, micro-bevelled edges and a tongue and groove joint. Packs hold six boards, covering 2.166 m².
With a reactive finish, colour comes partly from how each board takes the treatment, so some boards come out lighter and some darker. You will not get two identical floors, and the boards in your pack will not match each other exactly. If you want an even, uniform colour, choose from our standard oak plank colours instead.
Westminster sits with our grey and neutral tones. It suits interiors with character: an Edwardian house in Camberwell where a new floor should not look shiny and new, a country-style kitchen, or a room with exposed brick. Because the variation needs space to repeat, it looks best across a bigger area rather than a single small room.
Our installers open several packs at once and mix boards as they go, so light and dark boards spread evenly instead of clumping. The floor itself is laid like any engineered tongue and groove oak: glued to a slab or fixed over timber, after moisture and flatness checks.
Because the variation is part of the look, a small sample shows only part of the picture. See Westminster on the wall display at our Camberwell showroom, or compare it with St James, Oxburgh and Jacobean. More options are on the neutral grey shades page and in the engineered oak range.

Questions
No. The reactive finish produces board-to-board variation by design. Installers mix boards from several packs so the variation spreads evenly.
Each pack covers 2.166 m². With about 10% extra you would order for 30.8 m², which is 15 packs.
All four boards in the series share the same size, construction and reactive finish; they differ in colour. They are easiest to compare side by side on the showroom wall.
